The SOA Certification
The SOA certification is mandatory for participating in tenders for the execution of Public Works, in other words it is a document necessary and sufficient to prove that the company is able to perform, directly or by subcontracting, Public Works with the base bid amount exceeding € 150,000.00; it certifies and guarantees the possession by the company in the construction industry of all of the requirements of the current legislation in the field of public works contracts. The categories of works where it is possible to get the Qualification are 52. The category of works is related to the business activity and the type of work performed by the company. The rankings for qualification are 10; they are identified by a Roman numeral and a corresponding amount, expressed in euro:
- I up to 258.000 euro
- II up to 516.000 euro
- III up to 1.033.000 euro
- III bis up to 1.500.000 euro
- IV up to 2.582.000 euro
- IV bis up to 3.500.000 euro
- V up to 5.165.000 euro
- VI up to 10.329.000 euro
- VII up to 15.494.000 euro
- VIII more than 15.494.000 euro
The SOA (Society of Attesting Offices ) is issued by a Certifying Body that is required to verify the truthfulness and substance of all statements and of all documents produced by the company prior to the issuance of the SOA Certification, through any information systems and also by directly contacting the Public Authorities the company works with.

Siderurgica del Polesine has implemented the requirements of Legislative Decree n. 231/2001 and has, therefore, adopted a model of organization, management and control (Model 231) and appointed a Supervisory Board with the task of supervising the functioning and compliance with the Model.
It has also adopted an Ethical Code, integral and substantial part of the Model, as a charter of rights and moral duties defyning the ethical and social responsibilities of all those involved in the company. The Ethical Code is one of the tools of corporate social responsibility. It is an instrument for the implementation of good practices of behavior, a point of reference and a guide for those working in Siderurgica del Polesine and for those who have interest to pursue its mission.
